Summer Programs - Sacred Hearts Academy

The Academy offers fun and exciting activities and engaging and informative courses during its SUMMER PROGRAMS for boys and girls in the EARLY LEARNING CENTER (ELC) for Preschool (age three) and Kindergarten and grades 1 to 12.

Students can build upon the academics learned during the school year, develop and enhance skills and explore new academic frontiers through an interactive curriculum that fosters and stimulates a love for learning.

Through a wide array of electives, students can stay in shape and be active, express themselves through the visual and performing arts or learn the latest technology tips and tricks.

Students in the ELC and grades 1 to 3 attend self-contained classes which follow a special, fun theme. Boys and girls in grades 4 to 6 enroll in four different periods of four courses of their choice during the morning session.

In the afternoon, the Academy offers a wide array of special activities to further augment the summer experience, including various Sports Camps, Photography, Hula and much more during the EXTENDED SUMMER PROGRAM! This extension of the morning fun runs until 5 p.m. and is open to students in the ELC to grade 8.

For those in grades 7 to 12, the Academy's SUMMER offerings include an array of credit and non-credit courses to augment existing skills and knowledge or develop new interests and mastery. These range from Economics to Riflery to Algebra and more.

LOWER SCHOOL SUMMER OFFERINGS - Early Learning Center (Preschool) to Grade 6

The Academy's LOWER SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM offers a variety of courses for reinforcement and enrichment for boys and girls entering Preschool (ages three and four) to grade 6.

Classes for the EARLY LEARNING CENTER (ELC) - Preschool and Senior Kindergarten - to Grade 3 are self-contained. Fourth, fifth and sixth graders take attend four different periods of four courses of their choice during the Morning Session.

UPPER SCHOOL SUMMER OFFERINGS (Grades 7 to 12)

Four- and Five-Week Courses

The SUMMER PROGRAM for students in grades 7 to 12 includes a variety of credit and non-credit on-campus courses, covering a wide array of subjects to pique many interests. These options will engage students through a variety of intriguing hands-on activities.

For the five-week SUMMER courses, students in grades 9 to 12 will earn 0.5 credit in the respective subjects.

To review, build on current skills and ease the transition into the ninth grade in the fall, students entering grade 8 and 9 can enroll in two a special four-week MATHMEMATICS camp.
