Lower School Student Council

In an effort to foster leadership and build teamwork skills in the Lower School, students in grades four to six are eligible to serve on the Lower School Student Council as a class representative or Council officer.

In addition to learn how to work together for a common goal, members of the Council develop responsibility and organizational skills while planning activities held throughout the year to nurture class spirit, pride and community. These events include the Welcome Back-to-School Assembly in August, a Halloween door decorating contest, a canned food drive for Thanksgiving and Spirit Week in April.

Council members also lead by example and perform numerous community service acts throughout the year.
