Welcome to the Sacred Hearts Academy Pre-School

Engaging early learners in a quality Pre-School program is one of the best ways to lay the foundation for later success in the classroom and beyond.

The Academy offers an educational program for three and four-year olds that excites and engages young girls in learning. The safe and secure environment is a nurturing place for the Academy's Pre-School girls to experience hands-on activities in a wide array of areas, such as art, music, Physical Education, technology and reading, and where they can grow academically and developmentally.

And, parents tell us that the Academy's Pre-School is a "home away from home" for their daughters.

The Academy’s Pre-School is licensed by the Department of Human Resources.

The Academy's Pre-School program aims to develop the whole child, addressing all areas of development – socially, how to relate to others; emotionally, how to identify and handle feelings; physically, how to control the body; spiritually, how to be kind to others and develop empathy; and cognitively, how to find meaning about the world around them.

Pre-School hours are 7:35 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 7:35 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. (Pre-School students can be dropped off in free morning care beginning each day at 7 a.m.)

Those needing care after regular session hours can be enrolled in the Academy’s After School Care Program.
