| The
academic facet at Sacred Hearts Academy focuses on preparing students
to make the successful transition to the next level of their education.
In order to accomplish this feat, small, interactive classes are
mediated by well-rounded and highly qualified faculty who employ
a variety of techniques to stimulate the exchange of ideas and information.
The process is also bolstered by the efforts of the school’s
dedicated administration and staff.
Through this unique academic experience, students learn to value
their own intelligence, to think and learn on their own, to question
and wonder and take their own steps toward success.
While the Lower School and Junior High focus on planting a strong
foundation for later learning, the High School curriculum is strongly
college-preparatory with courses in English, mathematics, social
studies, science, foreign language, technology, religion and physical
education, as well as fine arts and business education. Over 98
percent of Academy graduates pursue further study after graduation.
Our on-line databases are available to the entire SHA family. For
